Twisted Sister Cancels Tour Due to Dee Snider's Health
6 Feb
Summary
- Dee Snider cancels upcoming tour dates due to health issues.
- Lead singer suffers from degenerative arthritis and heart problems.
- Twisted Sister's future will be decided in the coming weeks.

All upcoming Twisted Sister shows, beginning April 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and continuing through the summer, have been cancelled. The band announced that the future of Twisted Sister will be determined in the coming weeks.
Lead singer Dee Snider cited significant health challenges as the reason for the cancellations. He is reportedly suffering from degenerative arthritis, which has led to multiple surgeries and allows him to perform only a few songs at a time while in pain. Additionally, Snider's heart has been affected by his decades of high-intensity performances.
Snider stated his unwillingness to compromise his performance style, preferring to walk away rather than perform at a reduced capacity. This decision comes as the band was preparing for their first tour since the "40 and Fuck It" farewell tour in 2016, which was to feature core members Snider, Jay Jay French, and Eddie Ojeda.
