Tunnel Men: YRF's Next Real-Life Rescue Drama

Yash Raj Films' digital division, YRF Entertainment, is set to release 'Tunnel Men,' a new series dramatizing the 2023 Uttarakhand tunnel rescue. This project follows the success of 'The Railway Men,' with YRF focusing again on real-life stories of courage. The upcoming series will depict the intricate rescue operation of 41 workers trapped for over two weeks in the collapsed Silkyara tunnel. The mission showcased remarkable perseverance and collective effort.

Ambiecka Pandit and Manan Rawat are directing 'Tunnel Men,' marking a new directorial collaboration for YRF Entertainment. Shiv Rawail, who helmed 'The Railway Men,' will serve as the showrunner, ensuring creative continuity. Writing and pre-production are progressing steadily, with the team aiming to capture the scale and emotional intensity of the actual rescue. This series represents Saugata Mukherjee's first project as Head of Content at YRF Entertainment.

'Tunnel Men' will be available on Netflix, extending the successful collaboration between YRF Entertainment and the streaming platform, which previously brought audiences 'The Romantics' and 'The Railway Men.' This new venture further solidifies YRF's commitment to telling stories of real-life heroes and extraordinary events.
