Troye Sivan's New Album Features Charli XCX Surprise

Troye Sivan has released "She's The Best," the inaugural single from his forthcoming album, also titled "She's The Best." The song includes an unexpected vocal cameo from his close friend, Charli XCX. Sivan noted that having Charli on the track was meaningful to both himself and George Daniel, who co-wrote and produced the song.

The single's accompanying music video features a prominent role by Australian actress Nicole Kidman, whom Sivan first met in 2018. Sivan described the song's lyrical content as a collage of observations and a love letter inspired by the influential women in his life, marking a departure from his previous focus on writing about men.

"She's The Best," Sivan's first album since "Something to Give Each Other" in 2023, is scheduled for release on October 9. Sivan characterizes the album as a dynamic exploration, encompassing both "high-octane" and introspective moments, alongside a "deep sense of longing."
