Gandalf Narrates Troye Sivan's Risqué New Video

Troye Sivan has unveiled his latest single, "Party," a track that prominently samples Madonna's early 2000s hit "Music." The release is accompanied by a daring music video directed by Gordon von Steiner, notably featuring a voiceover from acclaimed actor Sir Ian McKellen. Sivan described the song's structure as an exploration of how dance music's repetition can become hypnotic when heard outside of a traditional club setting.

The new single precedes Sivan's upcoming album, "She's the Best," which is slated for release on October 9. Last month, the title track of the album was announced, and its music video also featured a notable cameo from fellow Australian and "Boy Erased" co-star Nicole Kidman. The album marks Sivan's follow-up to his 2023 release, "Something to Give Each Other."
