The Nicely Entertainment-produced "Trivia Night Mysteries" franchise is set to grow with the recent completion of production on its second and third installments, "Fit for a Murder" and "A Fatal Lesson." These new TV movies bring back lead actors Morgan Bradley as amateur sleuth Sara Keane and Alex Trumble as lawyer Reid Taggart.
Created by Emmy-nominated writer Steve Callaghan, the franchise combines intriguing mysteries with humor and romantic chemistry. The initial film, "Trivia Night Mysteries: A Question of Murder," is scheduled for a 2027 debut. Production has now wrapped on the subsequent two films, "Fit for a Murder" and "A Fatal Lesson," which are anticipated to be released in late 2027.
Callaghan drew inspiration from his own trivia hosting during pandemic lockdowns to develop the series. "Trivia Night Mysteries" features freelance fact-checker Keane, whose exceptional trivia knowledge aids her detective work alongside lawyer Taggart. "Fit for a Murder" involves Keane investigating the death of her editor, while "A Fatal Lesson" sees her delve into the murder of a school superintendent at a fundraiser.
