The Tribeca Festival will commence its 25th anniversary on June 3 with the premiere of a documentary focused on the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire. The film, titled 'Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial VS That's the Weight of the World)', is directed by Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson. This marks Thompson's second documentary, following his acclaimed 2025 film about Sly Stone. Following the screening, the iconic R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire is scheduled to perform, joined by Questlove's own ensemble, The Roots. The concert will take place at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan.
