22 Americans Vie for Deceit Crown in Scotland

A new reality competition, The Traitors: New Blood, is set to premiere on September 17, 2026, with a special two-hour episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Twenty-two civilians will travel to the picturesque Scottish Highlands to participate in a strategic game filled with deceit and betrayal.
Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show is inspired by the successful Dutch series 'De Verraders'. Contestants will be divided into two groups: The Faithful and the Traitors. The Traitors, secretly chosen by Cumming, will attempt to eliminate The Faithful through 'murders' while remaining undetected. The Faithful must then identify and banish the Traitors during roundtable discussions.
The ultimate goal for The Faithful is to eliminate all Traitors, dividing the prize money amongst themselves. However, if any Traitors remain at the game's end, they will claim the entire prize fund. The production is spearheaded by Studio Lambert, with Alan Cumming also serving as an executive producer.
