Tracker and High Potential Lead 2025-26 TV Ratings Race

As the 2025-26 television season progresses, the top of the network ratings charts looks strikingly similar to the previous year. CBS's Tracker and ABC's High Potential remain the two most-watched non-sports and non-news programs on network television.

Through October 26th, Tracker has averaged just under 14 million cross-platform viewers over seven days, more than 1.5 million more than the second-ranked series, High Potential, which has drawn 12.38 million viewers. The two shows also held the top two spots in the 2024-25 season.

While Tracker leads in overall viewership, High Potential has a sizable advantage in the key 18-49 demographic that advertisers covet. The ABC drama averages a 2.42 rating in this age group, with nearly three-quarters of its total audience coming from streaming platforms. High Potential's season premiere on September 16th has grown to 17.23 million viewers and a 3.9 rating among adults 18-49 over five weeks of viewing.

Across the board, the top 20 network entertainment series are seeing a significant portion of their audience, around 22%, coming from streaming platforms, with an even higher proportion, 54%, of their 18-49 ratings derived from streaming.
