Telangana has permitted an additional Rs 50 for single-screen tickets and Rs 100 for multiplexes and special theatres. Additionally, producers must contribute Rs 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Committee. Theatres must also display anti-narcotics and anti-cybercrime advertisements.
Andhra Pradesh has approved similar hikes of Rs 50 for single screens and Rs 100 for multiplexes. Uniquely, Andhra Pradesh also sanctioned a special 6 am premiere show on August 26 with tickets priced at Rs 600. These approvals aim to boost the film's opening, with advance bookings in Telugu states previously delayed awaiting clarity.
