Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has often reflected on the profound significance of family and home in his life. He reminisced about sharing a single room with his siblings in their old-school Kerala house, a stark contrast to the peace and privacy he values today.

Thomas candidly shared his struggles with homesickness during his school days, particularly when participating in handball tournaments that required him to stay away from home. This feeling persisted even during his engineering studies in Coimbatore, only subsiding once he formed friendships. He currently resides in his ancestral home, Ellikkal, in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur.
