Rachel Zegler Tributes A Chorus Line at Tonys

Rachel Zegler, star of "Snow White" and soon-to-be star of "Evita" on Broadway, will present a special tribute to the landmark musical "A Chorus Line" at the 79th Annual Tony Awards this Sunday. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 7th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This tribute highlights the enduring legacy of "A Chorus Line" in musical theater history.

Adding to the evening's tributes, Tony winner Leslie Odom, Jr. will perform "Without You" from "Rent" during the In Memoriam segment, coinciding with "Rent's" 30th anniversary. Furthermore, the long-running hit musical "Chicago" is set to commemorate its 30th year on Broadway with a special performance. Queen Latifah, recognized for her role in the film adaptation, is slated to participate in this celebratory performance.

The 79th Annual Tony Awards promises a spectacular showcase of Broadway talent. The opening number will feature over 170 performers, led by host Pink. Attendees can also anticipate musical performances from various acclaimed shows and productions, including "The Lost Boys," "Schmigadoon!," "Titaníque," "Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)," "Cats: The Jellicle Ball," "Ragtime," and "Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show."
