Tom Selleck, the beloved actor famed for his role in the '80s crime drama "Magnum P.I.," is set to return to television. After an absence of two years, the 81-year-old star has announced his participation in an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled series for Apple TV.

Selleck will share the screen with a notable cast including Elizabeth Banks, Ted Danson, Rob Delaney, and Katey Sagal. This new venture marks a significant return for the actor, who captivated audiences for eight years as private investigator Thomas Magnum in the Hawaii-set "Magnum P.I."
