The initial and "canonical" versions of each episode are available on the streaming platform Nebula. These will be followed approximately one week later by edited and ad-supported versions released on YouTube, allowing Scott to reach a wider audience.

Scott explained his return was driven by a strong concept he "couldn't not do," a principle he has followed for years. He emphasized the unique access and "filming privilege" his work affords him, allowing him to explore places inaccessible to tourists. The distribution choice to premiere on Nebula was influenced by YouTube's content restrictions, particularly concerning potentially sensitive material that might require blurring on the latter platform.
