In Hyderabad and across the Telugu states, audiences embraced the film as a major event, temporarily adopting Holland as their hero. Single-screen theatres featured custom title cards, fan edits, and confetti showers, mimicking introductions typically reserved for Telugu superstars like Mahesh Babu.

One striking example saw a title card proclaiming 'Super Star Tom Holland,' bestowing a moniker usually associated with Mahesh Babu. The screenings also saw a unique blend of festival culture, with 'pedda puli' dances and references to Goddess Maisamma superimposed onto Spider-Man scenes. Fan edits creatively recast Holland as 'Spidey Devaratha Raisaar,' a nod to Prabhas' character from Salaar, eliciting enthusiastic responses.

Cinemas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana facilitated these celebrations by allowing custom title cards and fan edits.
