The film follows the story of Bobby Sanders, a former professional hockey player who, after leaving his sports career, lands a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as a junior investment banker on Wall Street. As he navigates the unfamiliar world of finance and money, Sanders tries to give new meaning to his life and survive in this completely different environment.
Alongside Blythe, 'Bull Run' boasts a powerful supporting cast that includes Chris Diamantopoulos, Ashwin Gore, Helena Mattsson, Jay Mohr, Alyshia Ochse, Troy Garity, Sam Daly, Brandon Engman, Zach Villa, and Brett Robert Culbert. The film is directed by Alfredo Barrios Jr., known for his work on 'Magnum P.I.', 'Shelter', 'Burn Notice', and 'Six.'
The script for 'Bull Run' was written by Bill Keenan, who adapted it from his own memoir 'Discussion Materials: Tales of a Rookie Wall Street Investment Banker.' Keenan and Barrios have expressed their excitement for the audience to experience the "funny" and "quirky" comedy they have created, with Barrios praising Blythe and the rest of the cast for their "absolute revelations" in the film.
