Chrisley: Why I'm Not Back on Reality TV Yet

Todd Chrisley has addressed his delayed return to reality television, nearly a year after his pardon by former President Donald Trump. While discussions for a new series were reported for 2025, Chrisley explained on his daughter Savannah's podcast that he is seeking a project that feels authentic and comfortable.

Chrisley clarified that he is not entirely against returning to TV, having recently participated in The Masked Singer with his wife Julie. However, a personal family-focused reality show requires a different level of comfort. He stressed his opposition to staging events for cameras, expressing a desire to share genuine moments with audiences.

While fans eagerly anticipate a comeback, Chrisley's specific requirements mean a return to a full-time reality show is unlikely before the end of the 2026 TV schedule. Financial considerations, with reports of a $5 million deal request unmet in mid-2025, and public perception following past legal issues, also play a role.
