Diff'rent Strokes Star Todd Bridges Seeks End to Marriage

Todd Bridges, celebrated for his role in 'Diff'rent Strokes,' has initiated divorce proceedings from his wife, Bettijo B. Hirschi. The filing comes three months after the couple publicly announced their separation in January 2026. Bridges officially lodged a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage in Maricopa County, Arizona, on Tuesday, March 31, citing the marriage as "irretrievably broken."

The couple, who first met on a dating app in January 2022, married in September 2022. According to reports, Bridges and Hirschi, a photographer and designer, have no community property or debts to divide. They have also mutually agreed on all terms outside of court and neither is seeking spousal support.

This marks Bridges' second divorce. He was previously married to Dori Smith from 1998 to 2012, with whom he has two adult children. Hirschi also has four children from a prior relationship. The couple's separation was announced in January 2026, following months of prayer and reflection.
