Melissa Barrera is set to make her highly anticipated Broadway debut, stepping into the role of Rose in the musical parody "Titanique." This unique production playfully reimagines James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster "Titanic," focusing on the fate of Jack and Rose, all through the power of Céline Dion's greatest hits. The show, which first premiered off-Broadway in June 2022, has extended its run internationally and is now set for a 16-week limited engagement on Broadway.
The musical features beloved Dion tracks such as "My Heart Will Go On" and "Because You Loved Me," intricately woven into a comedic narrative. Marla Mindelle reprises her role as Céline Dion, co-writing the show with Tye Blue and Constantine Rousouli. Jim Parsons joins the cast as Rose's mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater, and Deborah Cox will portray the Unsinkable Molly Brown. "Titanique" officially opens on April 12, with previews beginning March 26.
