Disney+ Developing Live-Action Tink Series

Disney+ is developing a new live-action series that will focus on the iconic character Tinker Bell from Peter Pan. The project, tentatively titled 'Tink,' is being written by Liz Heldens and Bridget Carpenter. Both writers will also serve as executive producers on the show, which is considered a priority for the streaming service.

Tinker Bell, a foundational piece of intellectual property for Disney, has been a beloved character since her first appearance in J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. While she has been the subject of several animated films, this will be the first live-action series dedicated to her story. Gary Marsh, former head of Disney Branded Television, is also an executive producer, having had the series on his development list for years.
