"Too Easy" signifies the commencement of a new artistic chapter for the singer. This single follows Tinashe's 2024 release, "Quantum Baby," which was the second installment in a conceptual trilogy of albums. The artist has previously expressed her intention to connect these releases conceptually.
Tinashe shared that the idea for a trilogy developed before she began releasing the albums. She felt this approach would better engage listeners over time. While the third part of the trilogy is still in development, Tinashe noted the flexibility to adapt the project in real-time. A music video for 'Too Easy' is slated for release later today.
