Country Legends Fill Target Field with Timeless Tunes

Country music legends Tim McGraw, The Chicks, and Lady A recently captivated a crowd of nearly 40,000 fans at Target Field. This remarkable turnout occurred despite none of the featured artists having achieved significant country chart success in recent years. The event showcased the enduring power of classic country music, drawing an audience that spanned various age groups.

Tim McGraw, a veteran with over three decades of hits, performed many songs from before 2013, alongside a few new tracks. The Chicks, formerly known as the Dixie Chicks, haven't had a radio hit since 2002, following a past industry cancellation. Lady A, formerly Lady Antebellum, also hasn't scored a Top 10 hit since 2020. Regardless of recent chart performance, the combination of these three acts presented a delightful and varied evening of beloved country music during the 6½-hour concert.
