The fan's initial message to Allen was described as containing "at least 1,000 red flags", with the actor deciding to respond directly rather than avoid the situation. However, this interaction only seemed to further unsettle the delusional fan, who later showed up at the Disney studio lot where 'Home Improvement' was filmed. Security had to get involved, with the fan even stripping naked on the lot before eventually leaving.

Thankfully, Allen said this was the last time he had to deal with that particular stalker, though he noted that such incidents have been a "recurring thing" for him at times. The actor also shared how he has struggled with engaging with negative comments on social media over the years, despite advice to avoid such interactions.
