Actor Tim Allen has concluded an intensive year-long exploration of the Bible, reading it word-by-word. He shared on X that the journey left him humbled, enlightened, and amazed, prompting him to begin the process again. Allen's spiritual path has been marked by profound questioning, particularly following the tragic death of his father by a drunk driver when Allen was 11 years old.

This deeply personal quest for understanding also led Allen to finally forgive the individual responsible for his father's death, a significant act of closure after more than 60 years of internal struggle. He found inspiration for this forgiveness from a similar act of grace he witnessed. Allen's reflections also touch upon his evolving perception of God and his past brushes with the law, including a jail sentence in his twenties which served as a stark wake-up call.
