Filmmaker Ti West, recognized for his horror genre contributions, is venturing into a new adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic, 'A Christmas Carol,' titled 'Ebenezer.' West, who has harbored a lifelong fascination with the story, aims to highlight the supernatural and spooky aspects of the ghosts.

Johnny Depp stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, a role he approached with his characteristic flair, bringing a unique cadence and charm to the Dickensian dialogue. West emphasized Depp's ability to portray Scrooge's unsavory side while maintaining a sense of humor and sympathy, a key element in complicating the character's morality.
