T.I. Says Goodbye: King of the South Releases Final Album

Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., widely known as T.I. and the self-proclaimed King of the South, has officially retired from the music industry. This decision follows the release of his final album, titled 'Kill the King.' T.I. disclosed that he had been living a retired life since the pandemic, finding contentment in spending more time at home.

Despite his retirement, T.I. felt it was important to release one last album as a gesture of gratitude to his fans. He recalled seeking blessings from predecessors early in his career, including Big Boi, who advised him about the competitive nature of the industry, famously stating, 'Chess is a game of life. The game of the game in chess is to kill the king.' This sentiment inspired the title of his farewell album.

More recently, T.I. celebrated the success of his Pharrell-produced single 'Let 'Em Know,' which topped the Billboard R&B and hip-hop charts. The recording sessions for this hit took place on a yacht in the Atlantic Ocean, highlighting T.I.'s openness to inspiration from various life experiences.

With his recording career concluded, T.I. is eager to support his sons, Domani and King, who are also rappers. He expressed fulfillment in achieving his career aspirations and now looks forward to mentoring the next generation.
