Summary

- They first worked together on the 1993 film Indecent Proposal
- Thornton calls Moore "beautiful, amazing, and so talented"

With the highly anticipated second season of the hit TV show Landman set to premiere on November 16, 2025, the show's star-studded cast recently gathered in New York City for a lively carpet event. Among the attendees were longtime friends and co-stars Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, who play high-stakes business partners on the series.
Thornton, who also serves as an executive producer on Landman, spoke fondly of his co-star, saying "I love that girl. She's beautiful and amazing and so talented." The two actors have known each other for over 35 years, having first worked together on the 1993 film Indecent Proposal.
Their friendship has only grown stronger over the years, strengthened by Thornton's collaborations with Moore's ex-husband, Bruce Willis, on films like Armageddon, Bandits, and The Astronaut Farmer. "Demi and I have known each other for a long time, actually for 35 years," Thornton revealed. "But I got to know her very well over the three movies I did with Bruce, her ex-husband, because she used to bring the kids out to the set and everything, and they knew my kids when they were little and everything."
Despite the passage of time, the two actors have maintained a close bond, both on and off the screen. Thornton described their unique connection, saying "Anytime anything weird happens on the set or something breaks or whatever...we just look at each other and it's like...we have kind of an unspoken language. We could just give each other a look, and we know what it means."
