On November 6, 2025, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival's industry-focused AGORA section announced its annual awards. The festival's head, Angeliki Vergou, praised the selected projects, stating that the films "are hopeful for a better understanding of our society and each other."
The Crossroads Co-production Forum Jury bestowed several honors, including the Two Thirty-Five post-production award to "The Leaves Hang Trembling" and the CNC script development prize to "The Unmoving Hands." The ArteKino International Award went to "The Life and Times of Ion G.," while the Finos Film Award recognized the Greek project "Pirateland."
The prestigious Onassis Film Award, worth 10,000 euros, was granted to the Greek film "The Tide Hears Them But They No Longer Have a Voice" for its "boldness and authenticity." Other accolades included the Greener Screen Award, the Sofia Meetings Award, and the Mediterranean Film Institute scholarship.
The Agora Works in Progress section also celebrated emerging talents, with awards for sound mixing, post-production services, and a cash prize from Greek broadcaster ERT.
