Thambi Ramaiah Denies Film Targets Vijay

Actor and writer Thambi Ramaiah has directly addressed speculation surrounding the political comedy 'TN 2026 Thanga Natchathiram,' denying claims that it targets actor Vijay's political aspirations. Ramaiah clarified that the film, directed by his son Umapathy Ramaiah and starring Natarajan Subramaniam, is a humorous entertainer and not a spoof.

Ramaiah explained that the script, conceived a year ago and completed two months before the current date, focuses on a mass hero's pursuit of political power. He stressed that the narrative was crafted with care to avoid offending any individual or group, despite its political backdrop. He also noted that any perceived similarities to recent political events are purely coincidental.

Further emphasizing his neutrality, Ramaiah mentioned his close ties and friendships with members of various political parties, including DMK, AIADMK, NTK, and TVK. He also expressed his respect for Vijay, with whom he has collaborated on three films, and assured that he would never produce content that could jeopardize his son's directorial career or offend audiences. He urged viewers to watch the film before making judgments.
