- Two more seasons of 'The Testaments' are planned, totaling three.

The first season of Hulu's 'The Testaments,' a sequel to 'The Handmaid's Tale' adapted by Bruce Miller from Margaret Atwood's novel, has been renewed for a second season. This renewal follows the series' strong performance, with 45 million hours watched. Executive Producer Warren Littlefield revealed that the production team collaborated closely with Atwood to bring the sequel to life.
The narrative centers on Agnes (Chase Infiniti), the daughter of June, who is being raised in Gilead's upper class. She is tutored in a private school, preparing for marriage to a military official. Concurrently, Daisy (Lucy Halliday), a 'Pearl girl' from Toronto, is introduced as a spy within Gilead. The series diverges from the novel by taking place three to five years after 'The Handmaid's Tale,' rather than the novel's fifteen-year leap.
Littlefield confirmed that 'The Testaments' is planned for a total of three seasons, with production for season two anticipated for late summer or early fall. He also discussed the casting of Chase Infiniti and Lucy Halliday, highlighting their exceptional performances. Littlefield also shared insights into other projects, including a documentary about young gamers involved in the Ukraine war and alluded to the sixth season of 'Fargo' potentially being set in Texas.
