Summary
- Tessa Thompson describes Chris Hemsworth as "a baby with muscles, a very big infant"
- Thompson says Hemsworth has "no inhibition" and "will just do anything" to get a laugh
- Calls working on Marvel films "so goofy" and a place of "pure imagination"

In a recent interview, actress Tessa Thompson had nothing but praise for her Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth. Thompson, who is currently promoting her new film Hedda, described Hemsworth as a "baby with muscles, a very big infant" who has "no inhibition" and "will just do anything, you know, to get the laugh and to discover."
The two actors have shared the screen in several Marvel movies, including Avengers: Endgame, Thor: Ragnarok, and the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. Thompson says the experience of making these films is "so goofy" at times, requiring a "place of pure imagination" where the actors can "play like a kid."
Thompson also had high praise for Taika Waititi, the director of Ragnarok and Love and Thunder, whom she described as a "huge infant" with a "childlike approach to filmmaking" that is both "terrifying" and "he should be stopped."

Despite the silliness, Thompson says she sought out the opportunity to work on these big-budget superhero movies, as she was unsure if she could "do that" and wanted to "figure out if I can." Ultimately, she found the experience "really, really freed me up."
