Chris Pratt Returns for Spy Thriller 'True Believer'

Chris Pratt reprises his role as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece in The Terminal List Season 2, a new chapter streaming October 21, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video. The action thriller shifts its focus from personal revenge to international espionage, adapting Jack Carr's novel "True Believer." This season sees Reece drawn into a dangerous global conspiracy linked to his family's history.

In this installment, Reece is approached by the CIA with a unique proposition: a presidential pardon in exchange for assistance in neutralizing a growing terrorist threat. This mission escalates, pulling him into a far-reaching conspiracy involving influential individuals and intricate intelligence operations across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Indian Ocean region.

The narrative takes a step away from the primary revenge plot of the first season. With his personal mission accomplished, Reece must forge a new path in a world filled with espionage, formidable adversaries, and uncertain alliances. Several cast members are returning, including Constance Wu as journalist Katie Buranek and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.
