Teller Bank$ Drops Biblical Rap Epic NOAH

Teller Bank$ has released NOAH, his third album this year, presenting a biblically inspired concept record. The album utilizes the story of Noah's survival and a preacher's sermon about divine visions as central themes. Bank$ delivers nimble and frantic storytelling, drawing comparisons to various unique vocal styles, including Meechy Darko and Heath Ledger's Joker.

The production, handled by the $$$-group, features boom-bap drums and atmospheric soundscapes, though occasionally strays into Griselda-like piano melodies or dated trap patterns. Bank$'s vocal performances, enhanced with delay and pitch modulation, are a primary focus. His lyrical content is described as artful and direct, balancing spiritual concepts with street narratives and personal experiences.

Bank$'s penmanship is highlighted as the element that ties NOAH together. He expertly uses homonyms and delivers a clear message, finding a balance between light and dark themes. The album reflects on the Black plight and street life, with Bank$ sharing his journey of survival and the ostracization he faced, using the Noah narrative as a parallel.
