Teenage Fanclub Announce New Album 'Do Not Dare to Dream'

Teenage Fanclub, the veteran Scottish indie rock band, has announced their forthcoming album titled 'Do Not Dare to Dream,' slated for release on October 9. The album, which follows up their 2023 release 'Nothing Lasts Forever,' was recorded at Black Bay Studios on the remote Scottish island of Great Bernera.

The band's co-founder, Norman Blake, shared his perspective on the album's title, suggesting that the idea of "daring to dream" is unrealistic given the nature of the world. This sentiment is echoed by fellow co-founder Raymond McGinley, who commented on the band's enduring presence in the music scene.

The tracklist for 'Do Not Dare to Dream' includes ten songs, with "Day in the Sun" being the first single released, accompanied by a music video. The album's recording location on Great Bernera adds a unique backdrop to the band's latest musical offering.
