The recent conclusion of Ted Lasso's fourth season saw pivotal shifts in its character arcs and team dynamics. Roy Kent, a prominent figure, has departed AFC Richmond to take on a new managerial role at Chelsea. This transition is anticipated to naturally lessen his involvement with the main cast, potentially allowing more narrative space for other storylines.
Conversely, Alice Chilton has been elevated to the position of head coach for AFC Richmond's women's team. She will be supported by Ted Lasso and Coach Beard, who are set to serve as her assistant managers. This strategic change places Alice and her team at the center of the show's future direction, promising a renewed focus on their growth and development as a unit.
