Taylor Swift's Surprise Collaboration with Mumford & Sons Revealed

In November 2020, towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, Taylor Swift spent time recording parts of her album 'evermore' at the home studio of Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford in the UK. Mumford, who is 38 years old, recently recalled the experience on a podcast, saying that producer Aaron Dessner had called him and asked if he had a "discreet" home studio space.

Mumford was surprised to learn that the guest was none other than Taylor Swift, 35. He said she was the "most phenomenal house guest" and that she "brought a killer candle" to his home. Mumford also revealed that Swift finished the second half of 'evermore' in his studio.

The collaboration between Swift and Mumford did not end there. In March 2023, the two artists surprised fans by performing an acoustic duet of the song "cowboy like me" during Swift's Eras Tour stop in Las Vegas. Mumford provided background harmonies on the track, which tells the fictional story of two con artists in the American Wild West who fall in love.
