19 Oct
Summary
- Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl spends second week at No. 1
- Showgirl sees largest second-week numbers since Swift's last album
- Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving hits new peak, climbing to No. 6

As of October 19th, 2025, Taylor Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl continues its reign atop the Billboard 200 chart for a second consecutive week. The album earned 338,000 equivalent album units in the latest tracking week, down 92% from its record-breaking debut the previous week.
Despite the steep decline, Showgirl's second-week performance is still the fifth-largest for any album so far in 2025. It also marks the largest second-week numbers for an album since Swift's last project, The Tortured Poets Department, earned 439,000 units in its sophomore frame back in May 2024.
Showgirl is only the third album this year to spend its first two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following releases from Morgan Wallen and Playboi Carti. Meanwhile, Olivia Dean's The Art of Loving continues its climb, rising from No. 7 to a new peak of No. 6 in its third week on the chart. It's one of just three albums to debut in the top 10 this year and then reach a new high in a subsequent week.
