Summary
- Swift campaigned for an Oscar nomination with a stunning performance.
- She charmed Hollywood elites without accepting a performance fee.
- Swift attended the Chiefs game after her Hollywood event, showcasing versatility.
Taylor Swift recently achieved a remarkable feat by performing at a high-profile Hollywood gala on a Saturday night, then attending a Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday. This dual event highlighted her dedication to both her burgeoning Oscar campaign and her support for Travis Kelce.
Swift is actively campaigning for an Academy Award nomination in the Best Original Song category for "I Knew It, I Knew You," from Toy Story 5. Although she has never received an Oscar nod, her performance at the recent gala, which included a four-song set, reportedly left Hollywood elites deeply impressed. Sources claim she worked the room with exceptional grace and charm, and notably performed without accepting a fee, a move seen as beneficial for her Oscar bid.
This demanding schedule nearly caused Swift to miss the Chiefs' game against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, she successfully made it to Arrowhead Stadium, watching from a suite as the Chiefs secured a victory. This instance mirrors her past ability to manage demanding schedules, such as her attendance at Super Bowl LVIII shortly after an Eras Tour concert in Tokyo.
