Summary
- Producer confirms Taylor Paul wants to return to the show.
- Taylor Paul pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in 2023.
- Mutual protective orders prevent Paul and ex from filming together.

The future of Taylor Frankie Paul on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is uncertain but hopeful, according to executive producer Jeff Jenkins. He confirmed that Paul desires to return to the show, and he also wishes for her comeback.
Paul faced legal consequences after a 2023 altercation with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, pleading guilty to aggravated assault. She is currently on probation until August. The show's fifth season paused production amid investigations into subsequent alleged domestic violence incidents from 2024 and February.
Mutual protective orders have been issued in the custody battle for their 2-year-old son, Ever. Jenkins noted these orders mean Paul and Mortensen cannot film together again, but expressed optimism for both appearing individually on future projects.
Additionally, other cast changes are occurring, with breakout star Witney Leavitt departing the series and original cast member Jen Affleck joining a new spin-off, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.
