- Tate pays Taylor $3,000 monthly child support.
- Divorce decree stipulated shared custody and alternating parent time.

Taylor Frankie Paul's previous marriage and divorce from Tate Paul have gained renewed attention. The couple, who were married for six years before their summer 2022 divorce, were known to be part of a soft-swinging group of Mormons in Utah. Taylor had previously disclosed that her relationship with Tate ended partly because she had crossed a line with another man.
According to court documents filed in August 2022, Tate Paul agreed to pay his ex-wife $3,000 per month in child support for their daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5. The divorce decree granted both parents joint legal and physical custody, arranging for them to alternate parent time with the children every two days and share holidays. The agreement also stipulated that neither parent would consume alcohol on days they had the children.
Neither Taylor nor Tate were awarded alimony. Tate was designated to provide medical insurance for the children and solely cover its costs. He was also made responsible for all debts in his name, while Taylor was to handle her personal debts. The division of assets included Tate receiving a 2021 Dodge Ram TRX and Taylor keeping a 2020 Kia Teluride. Their jointly owned house in South Jordan, Utah, was to be sold, with proceeds split equally. Real estate records indicate the home sold in July 2022.
The resurfacing of these divorce details coincides with Taylor's current legal issues involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. News broke on March 16, 2026, about an alleged domestic violence dispute between Taylor and Dakota in late February. Dakota subsequently filed for a restraining order against Taylor and requested temporary custody of their son, Ever, 2, which was granted on March 21, 2026. This situation has led to production halts for reality shows involving Taylor.
