Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is set to be honored at AFI Fest with a special event in Hollywood. This celebration includes a screening of his 2019 film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," followed by a conversation with the acclaimed director. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 23, at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre.
This appearance precedes significant new releases within Tarantino's universe. A David Fincher-directed film, "The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth," starring Brad Pitt, is slated for a November 25 release. Tarantino is also releasing his novelization, "The Adventures of Cliff Booth," in December.
Further expanding his creative ventures, Tarantino's debut as a playwright will occur on March 18, 2027, with the opening of "The Popinjay Cavalier" at London's Phoenix Theatre. Previews begin February 23, with booking extending to June 13, and the play will feature Sacha Baron Cohen.
AFI Fest passes are currently available, with individual tickets going on sale October 3.
