Tarantino Teases Cliff Booth Film Preview

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino recently gave fans an exciting glimpse into his latest project, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, by debuting a 17-minute preview at the AFI Festival. This preview showcases Brad Pitt reprising his acclaimed role as the fictional stuntman Cliff Booth.

The character of Cliff Booth was first introduced in Tarantino's 2019 film, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, which featured an ensemble cast including Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie. Pitt's performance as Booth in that movie earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The screening, which took place on Friday, October 23, was followed by a Q&A session with Tarantino himself. The film is also associated with Tarantino's novel, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, scheduled for release on December 8. Tarantino described the project as a blend of real historical elements and his own fantastical creations.

The narrative follows Cliff Booth in his post-stunt performing career, managing the historic New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. The opening scene depicts Booth acquiring stolen goods, including a Best Actor Oscar, and a film starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II being shown at the cinema.
