The 56th International Film Festival of India, set to take place from November 20-28 in Goa, has unveiled an impressive lineup for this year's event. The festival has selected the Tamil-language war drama "Amaran," starring Sivakarthikeyan, as the opening feature film.
The diverse selection includes 25 feature films, 20 non-feature films, and 5 streaming series competing for the Best Web-Series Award. The feature film jury, chaired by actor-filmmaker-producer Raja Bundela and comprising 12 members, chose the films from over 500 contemporary Indian feature film entries, representing multiple Indian languages and regional cinema traditions.
