Tamera Mowry-Housley Joins Scrubs Revival Season 2

Tamera Mowry-Housley will make a guest appearance in the second season of the Scrubs revival, playing Dr. Steffie. This character is a pediatric doctor tasked with encouraging Tosh to specialize in pediatrics.

The revival's second season is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 30, with two back-to-back episodes. The show maintains its 30-minute format.

Within the new season, J.D., Turk, and Elliot, originally interns, are now respected icons at Sacred Heart. They are responsible for inspiring new doctors while navigating the complexities of hospital life.

Bill Lawrence, the creator of the original series, is an executive producer alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke also serve as executive producers. Mowry-Housley's notable past roles include 'Sister, Sister,' 'Strong Medicine,' and 'Melissa and Joey.' She also contributed voice work to 'Family Guy' and 'Super Hero Squad Show.'

She was a co-host on 'The Real,' earning a Daytime Emmy for her work on the talk show.
