Talamasca: AMC's Supernatural Spy Series for Goth Fans

AMC has expanded its Anne Rice Immortal Universe with the launch of a new supernatural spy series, Talamasca. The show follows a secret agency that monitors the activities of various mythical creatures from Rice's acclaimed fantasy novels, including vampires, witches, spirits, and mummies.

Talamasca stars Nicholas Denton as a new recruit to the agency, with Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers rounding out the main cast. The series is the third to debut in the growing Immortal Universe, joining Interview With The Vampire and Mayfair Witches.

Rice's work has long captivated readers with its rich, gothic-tinged tales of the undead and the occult. Talamasca aims to bring that same moody, atmospheric sensibility to the small screen, offering a spy thriller set against the backdrop of Rice's fantastical world. The show promises to delve deeper into the various supernatural beings that populate the author's expansive fictional universe.
