Taiwan is asserting its presence in the global film market by showcasing a diverse slate of projects at Hong Kong's FilMart and the Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF). The Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) leads this initiative, emphasizing Taiwan's growing ambition in international co-production and distribution.
Two prominent projects headlining the Taiwan Spotlight Showcase are the TV series "Addicted," featuring a cast from a previous box-office hit, and the narrative feature "Haru and Tae." The latter, directed by Akira Ikeda, previously garnered attention with a Vision Award in 2022. Both will offer exclusive first-look materials and director insights.
TAICCA's engagement extends to investing in projects through its Creative Content Development Program and Taiwan's International Co-Funding Program 2.0. This strategic involvement aims to bolster Taiwanese content's market traction and foster new international partnerships, with a strong presence at FilMart featuring 106 companies and 242 titles.
