Two days ago, the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) unveiled a series of strategic partnerships aimed at boosting the global reach of Taiwanese content across film, television, digital entertainment, and gaming.
TAICCA sealed a co-production memorandum of understanding with Japan's K2 Pictures Inc., outlining frameworks for co-investment, co-production, and content financing to enhance the international visibility of Taiwanese screen projects. The agency also launched the Digital Games Fund in collaboration with Taiwan's Lunta Ventures, a new initiative designed to support the development and commercialization of original Taiwanese game IP.
Beyond these major deals in the film and gaming sectors, TAICCA further expanded its international slate by signing MOUs with Japan's TOHAN and Korea's CLB. These partnerships are expected to drive the global promotion of Taiwanese comics.
