Tabu and Akshay Kumar Reunite for Horror Comedy 'Bhooth Bangla'

In 2025, veteran Bollywood actors Tabu and Akshay Kumar are set to reunite on the big screen for the horror comedy film 'Bhooth Bangla', directed by Priyadarshan. The trio last collaborated 25 years ago on the hit comedy 'Hera Pheri', and their upcoming project marks a nostalgic reunion.

Tabu, who will be working with Akshay after over two decades, says the experience has been "nostalgic, surprising, and oddly familiar all at once." Despite the long gap, she found that Priyadarshan, the director, remains unchanged - "still as impatient, still as vocal about what he feels." However, the actors themselves have grown in different directions and are now back together.

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar's core qualities - his humor, energy, and disciplined work ethic - seem untouched by time. Tabu notes that Akshay's "humour and energy are the same. He still wakes up at 4 am, finishes early, and heads home." This consistency in Akshay's approach has been a positive factor for the rest of the cast and crew.
