She noted that her professional journey has often been difficult for observers to comprehend, using her casting in the Shah Rukh Khan-led film 'Dunki' as a prime example.

Pannu expressed pride that her success cannot be attributed to conventional advantages like family ties or studio backing. She recounted that many found her inclusion in 'Dunki' perplexing, as she was not part of Shah Rukh Khan's social circle, nor had she previously collaborated with director Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani had initially met with her to discuss her approach to a role before offering her the script for 'Dunki'.

The actress also addressed the ongoing speculation about her personality, suggesting it stems from a lack of personal acquaintance. She believes that her inability to be easily categorized contributes to these narratives.
