T-Pain Honors Tree With Unreleased Track

T-Pain recently debuted an unreleased song featuring the late rapper Tree at the Electric Forest festival. Tree tragically passed away at the age of 32 on June 14. The unreleased track, recorded collaboratively before his death, was played during T-Pain's extensive set with DJ Diesel, Shaquille O'Neal. Audience footage showed the song, which starts as a slow croon and builds into an energetic dance track, while a visual tribute to Tree played behind the DJs.

This musical tribute comes after T-Pain shared a poignant social media message on the day of Tree's death. He recalled a 2023 meeting with Tree, expressing gratitude for his unique art and friendship. Tree was among six people who lost their lives in a helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro on June 14. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
