SZA recently unveiled a rendition of the Goo Goo Dolls' classic 1998 track, 'Iris.' The song was shared on Instagram, accompanied by a visual edit described as 'deep fried,' referencing a popular TikTok trend of sharing 1990s throwback photos. This musical offering arrives after a significant year for the artist, who, in early 2026, received a Grammy Award for Record of the Year for her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar titled 'Luther.'

Further solidifying her prolific output, SZA also contributed an original song, 'Save the Day,' to the soundtrack for Pixar's animated film 'Hoops.' Her latest album, SOS, released in 2023, received a deluxe update in 2025. This expanded version, titled SOS Deluxe: Lana, included four new tracks, featuring an updated version of 'Joni' with Don Toliver, alongside 'Take You Down,' 'PSA,' and 'Open Arms (Just SZA).'
